We are looking to hire positive, friendly staff to join us and serve our guests.

We are looking for a chef/cook who can help run our kitchen. includes buying ingredients, prepping, preparing food, stocking, rotating pans, running food to FOH as needed, and maintaining a clean kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the experience running a kitchen and wants to be part of the local Waynesboro community. We are a medium sized wine bar + market, with a very light menu serving panini, charcuterie, cheeseboards, and light fare. We will host parties and other events as well as daily service. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Responsibilities/Experience:

– Run our kitchen: buy ingredients, prep, prepare, clean, adhere to all health code standards

– Must have a Level II or Manager Serv Safe

– Must have experience cooking with fresh, local ingredients

– Please be a self-starter/leader type, but be able to take direction from the owners

– Please have reliable transportation – no prior DUIs

– Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure at times

– Have a solid and hard work ethic, be able to stand for a 12-hour shift

– Have experience running a kitchen

– Help promote our business through social media, attending events, and word of mouth

– Please have experience using ingredients wisely to avoid overspending

– Have relationships with food vendors is preferred

– Please be a Certified Food Protection Manager

– Clean record – no issues with drinking alcohol or the use of illegal substances

– Non-Smoker
